Floristics Co. partners with tree planting NGOs to make our flower bouquets carbon negative – and an even more thoughtful gift.
Floristics Co. has been offering customers in Hong Kong honestly priced premium flower bouquets for almost three years. During this time, we have shaken up the Hong Kong flower industry, with eco-packaging and fresh flowers that are sourced from as nearby as possible. By making flowers more accessible, our carefully curated edit of seasonal, market-fresh bouquets continue to brighten up homes (both big and small) and occasions (both special and everyday) across the city.
Now Floristics Co. is going a step further by committing to plant a tree for every bouquet we sell. This offers customers an opportunity to make a positive contribution each time they buy their fresh flowers, and the chance to make their floral gifts to their loved ones even more thoughtful.
It's no secret that it takes resources to grow, transport and prepare the flowers needed for a bouquet. That's why Floristics Co. has set out to do whatever possible to not only go net zero – but to go further to go carbon negative.
For every bouquet sold, plants a tree that removes over 308kg of CO2 from the atmosphere during the growth life of the tree. That is the equivalent of offsetting the average carbon requirements for over 100 flower bouquets.
